1. Platform purpose
Makwande Careers provides career-development tools including CV creation and revamp, ATS analysis, career guidance, application preparation, interview support and job-matching assistance. The platform does not guarantee interviews, employment, salary outcomes or employer decisions.
2. Candidate responsibility and AI
You must provide accurate information and review all AI-assisted content before using it. AI suggestions are guidance—not verified facts—and must never be used to invent qualifications, employers, duties or achievements.
3. Free access and optional payment
Self-service access to Makwande Careers is free. Fees apply only when a client selects an optional Human-Assisted Career Service. The package scope, application allowance, duration and price are shown before checkout. Historical R45 and R300 payments remain governed by the terms accepted at purchase and may qualify for any legacy credit displayed by the platform. Payments are securely processed by Paystack; Makwande Careers does not collect or store full card details.
4. Refund and payment queries
If a payment is duplicated, access is not activated, or a technical fault prevents use, contact Makwande Careers promptly with the Paystack reference. Requests are assessed according to applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the transaction.
5. Human-assisted services
Human-assisted packages are R500 for up to 50 applications, R1,000 for up to 100 applications and R1,500 for up to 150 applications. Every package includes CV revamp and ATS optimisation, LinkedIn profile optimisation and promotion, interview and career guidance, dedicated client support, monthly progress updates, job-match checks, accurate in-system CV adjustments and application tracking. The candidate remains responsible for the accuracy of their CV and for approving suitable vacancies. Application assistance does not guarantee an interview, employment offer, salary, work permit or visa.
6. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the platform, access another person's account, upload unlawful material, bypass access controls, scrape the service, or use generated content to misrepresent your history.
7. Referral Fee Programme
The Makwande Careers Referral Fee Programme is a free, voluntary, one-level referral arrangement. An eligible account holder receives one unique referral link or code after accepting these terms. No fee is charged to join, and no commission is paid for recruiting another referrer, building a downline or the recruitment activity of any other person.
A referral fee is earned only when a different customer uses an active referral code and Makwande Careers verifies a successful payment for an eligible service. The standard referral fee is 10% of the amount actually paid in the qualifying transaction after any credit or discount. The referred customer's price is not increased. Transactions completed without the code, historical purchases and later code claims are not attributed retrospectively.
A commission remains pending for 14 calendar days while the payment and referral are verified. A refunded, reversed, disputed, charged-back, duplicated, fraudulent or otherwise invalid sale does not qualify and its commission may be withheld or reversed. A self-referral, referral between accounts controlled by the same person, manipulated payment or attempt to circumvent programme rules is prohibited.
A participant may request payment after the available balance reaches R200. Pending commissions do not count toward that threshold. Verified payout requests are processed in the weekly Monday payout cycle. A participant must submit a payout profile and have the banking details verified before requesting payment. Participants are responsible for supplying accurate account-holder, bank, account-type, account-number and branch-code information and confirming that they own or are authorised to use the nominated account. Replacing banking details requires reverification and is blocked while a payout is being processed. Makwande Careers may verify identity and account ownership through a secure process. Participants are responsible for their own tax declarations and obligations. Participation does not create employment, agency, partnership or authority to bind Makwande Careers.
Payout account numbers are encrypted in storage and masked in ordinary participant and administrator views. An authorised administrator may reveal the full number only when required for verification or payment, must record a reason, and the access is logged. Payment is made only to the verified payout profile attached to the participant's account.
Participants may not send unlawful spam, impersonate Makwande Careers, make misleading statements, promise employment or guaranteed income, misrepresent a service, use the brand without permission or pressure anyone to purchase. Referral links must be shared honestly and only with people who may genuinely benefit from the service.
Makwande Careers may investigate activity, suspend a code, reject an invalid commission or close participation for fraud, abuse, legal or reputational risk, or a material breach of these terms. Legitimately earned balances remain subject to verification, lawful deductions and reversals. Programme rates, eligible services and operational rules may change prospectively; material changes will be published in the system. Personal information is processed under the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Documents and ownership
You retain ownership of the career information and original documents you upload. You give Makwande Careers permission to process that information only to operate, secure and improve the services you request.
